Electrical Construction Plans

Testing and Inspecting

Testing and Inspecting is essential for making sure your electrical installation is up to BS7671:2018 standards but most importantly, making sure that your property is safe for it's occupants. From fault finding to planned EICR's, ONCO are qualified and ready to help.

An EICR is an Electrical Installation Condition Report. It is a formal document that is produced following an assessment of the electrical installation within a property. It must be carried out by an experienced qualified electrician or approved contractor.

These new Regulations require landlords to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected and tested by a person who is qualified and competent, at least every 5 years. Landlords have to provide a copy of the electrical safety report to their tenants, and to their local authority if requested.

If you are a Landlord, and want to know more about the regulations, here's a link to the .gov website with everything you need to know. We are currently the preferred supplier to a maintenance company and a construction company, so if you require any help, please feel free to get in touch.

EICR's usually start from around £150 for a flat or small house, however an accurate price will be given at point of quote.
